WAVERLY EDUCATION FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP AND GRANT

The Waverly Education Foundation Scholarship and Grant is presented each year to two graduating Waverly seniors who have demonstrated an understanding of the importance of community service.  Applications are due by May 1st and each student selected will receive a $500 scholarship and a $500 Grant will be awarded to an approved Waverly School Program of the student’s choice (past examples: Spanish Honor Society, Track Team, Waverly Robotics, National Honor Society, Destination Imagination, PALS, High School Choirs, etc.)

2001 Stacey Smith – Granted $1, 000 to the Track Team

2002 Alison Kramer – Granted $500 to the National Honor Society and $500 to Destination Imagination

2003 Corey Woodard – Granted $1,000 to PALS

2004 Minh Thu Nguyen – Granted $1,000 to the Student Sen ate for “Relay For Life” and school beautification
